No Ordinary Thaw

We went to see the City of Ember movie this week. There were quite a few things in the movie that tended to really remind us of the state of affairs in Christianity today.

As we’ve done with some books, we’ve decided to start a “movie review” page. There are a number of movies we’ve seen that strike us as having a lot of spiritual implications. This movie certainly had quite a few. So you can check our our thoughts here if you’d like.

For those who know us who don’t live here — it’s snowing here today!  Nothing that is sticking or accumulating, but today is our first day of snow.  Welcome to Minnesota.  The wind chill is 26 degrees and if it weren’t so windy, we would probably feel comfortable outside without jackets for a short amount of time.  We like it here. :-)

Well, finally we have some fun media on our Media Page.

The first entry is a movie of Judah and Bethany in the kitchen.  There is a slight “difference of opinion” as to what needs to be done in the kitchen at the time.  Judah maintains the kitchen needs to be cleaned up first; Bethany wants to make brownies now. :-)
